Method of Cooking Step By Step:
First Step: In a bowl take all purpose flour. Quantity as per your choice. I have taken 250 gram.
Second Step: Now add some Semolina or Sooji or Rava. I took half cup semolina.
Third Step: Now add 1/4 tsp of salt and 1/2 tsp baking powder.
Fourth Step: Add half cup sugar to it. and mix all the ingredients.
Fifth Step: Now add half cup of milk into it and mix evenly.
Sixth Step: Add water to it and mix it evenly make sure that no lumps is there.
Its consistency you can check in the video description.
Seventh Step: Now add some cardamom powder to it and mix evenly. Cardamom powder will give a nice flavor to our malpuas. Now rest this mixture for 20 minute.
Eight Step: Now for sugar syrup heat a pan add 250 gram water and sugar and mix it well.
Ninth Step: Add pinch of saffron and some cardamom for flavor. It will give a wonderful flavor to our sugar syrup.
Tenth Step: Give a nice boil to our sugar syrup and sugar syrup is ready when our sugar and water mix completely well. switch off the flame and let it cool.
Eleventh step: Now heat oil into a pan.
Twelve Step: Now with the help of a spoon add our malpua mixture little by little and one by one to oil and fry. Make sure flame is medium otherwise malpuas will not cook from inside. Fry until it becomes brown in color.
Thirteenth Step: Like this way fry all the malpuas and keep aside.
Fourteenth Step: Now put fried malpuas to our sugar syrup and keep it there for 5 to seven minute. Don't put malpua's all at a time. Put 2 or three at a time so that it can mix with sugar syrup well.
Fifteenth Step: Now take out Malpua into a plate and garnish with some Pistachios.
Our Malpua recipe is ready. It is delicious recipe to taste. It can be served to guest or you can fulfill your sweet cravings with this recipe.
NB: 1. Consistency of the Malpua mixture should be like Dosa consistency. It should not be very thick or very thin consistency.
2. While frying the Malpuas let heat the oil properly first and after that lower the flame simmer and add Malpuas and after that fry it into a medium flame.
3. While adding the sugar to the mixture as I have added 1/2 cup sugar it can be of your choice. Without sugar also it comes out good if somebody wants to consume less sugar. It depends on you completely.
