Necessary Ingredients Required For jeggery Kheer Recipe:

Milk 1 liter,
Jeggery (as per your taste),
Rice 140 gram,
Cardamom Powder,
Dry fruits as per your choice.

Method Of Cooking Step By Step:

Step One: Heat a pan and boil 1 liter of milk. Here I have used full fat milk. For any kind of kheer recipe full fat milk is always preferable.

Step Two: As milk comes to a boil simmer the flame. Stir the milk in-between so that it can't stick to the bottom.

Step Three: Now add rice to it and mix it evenly. Before adding the rice soak it for half an hour.

Step Four: Let it cook in low flame. Stir in-between. Flame should always be low otherwise milk may get overflow or rice will not be cooked nicely.

Step Five: Slowly milk will get thicker keep stirring.

Step Six: As milk gets thicker rice also will comes to a boil.

Step Seven: Now its time to add some dry fruits. Add some dry fruits as per your choice. Here I have added some raisins and cashew nuts. Fried dry fruits can also be added. For this add some one tsp ghee into a pan and put dry fruits into it and fry until it gets golden in low flame.

Step Eight: Now add some cardamom powder for flavor. Just add a pinch. Because the flavor of cardamom is very strong so its better to add less amount of it.

Step Nine: Keep cooking until you get required consistency for the kheer.

Step Ten: Now take another pan and add 1/4th cup of water into it. Now switch on the flame and put the pan on the flame and boil the water. Now take some jeggery and put it into the water. Boil it until jeggery completely dissolve into water.

Step Eleven: Now add this jeggery water too our boiling kheer. Mix this evenly.
Cook it for another 5 minute in low flame.

Jeggery Kheer is ready. It can be served hot or let it come into room temperature and keep it into refrigerator for 1 to 2 hour and have it chilled. It is really a delicious recipe with nice flavor of jeggery.
