Jack-fruit seed is very delicious to eat. Here in this recipe I am sharing a authentic Indian vegetarian recipe. This is very popular recipe in Assam and other North Eastern states of India. This is very simple recipe and can be prepared with very less ingredients. It can be serve as a side dish with rice. It tastes awesome. Let's see the necessary ingredients and step by step method of preparation-


Ingredients Required To Prepare Kothalguti (Jack-fruit seeds) Pitika Recipe:


Jack-fruit 10 to 15,
Onion 1 small chopped,
Garlic clove 1 (Burnt garlic nicely),
Dry red chili 1( Burnt dry red chili),
Salt as per taste,
Mustard oil 1 tbsp,
Coriander leaves chopped

Step By Step Method Of Preparation Of Kothalguti (Jack-fruit seeds) Pitika Recipe:


Step One: Take 10 to 12 (quantity can be as per requirement) seeds of jack fruit which are sun dried.
Remove the outer skin of it and soak it for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes of soaking remove the red skin as well.

Step Two: Now boil the seeds into 2 whistle and let the pressure release automatically.

Step Three: Now take the seeds out into bowl. Let it cool down.

Step Four: Add salt as per taste.

Step Five: Add chopped onion.

Step Six: Add chopped coriander leaves.

Step Seven: Now take a dry red chili and burn it into the stove and add to the seeds. Similarly take one garlic clove and burn it into the stove and add into the seeds.

Step Eight: Add mustard oil 1 tbsp. Mustard oil is must for this recipe which gives a nice aroma to our recipe.

Step Nine: Now mash it everything which the help of a masher. 

Serve it with hot steamed rice and dal as a side dish . It tastes awesome.
