Boiled Fish Curry Recipe is a fish recipe with very basic Ingredients. This recipe belongs to Assam. Assamese Cuisines are one of the most healthiest cuisines in India. They used very less amount of spices in their cuisines and retains it's natural flavor and texture. This fish recipe is prepared with local river fish Rohu or Rou. River fish are also called sweet fish. Taste of river fish is very different from sea fish. Here in this fish curry preparation we cook fish with very less ingredients. Boiled Fish Curry Recipe Ingredients:

 Rohu Fish 4 to 5 pieces,
Potato 1 medium cut into slices,
Onion 1 large chopped,
Garlic cloves 5 to 6 burnt in the stove,
Ginger piece 1 piece medium,
Dry red chili 2 burnt in the stove,
Spring Onion,
Coriander leaves,
Salt as per taste,
Water 2 to 3 cups,
Mustard oil for garnishing.

Step By Step Method Of Boiled Fish Curry Recipe Preparation: 

 Step One: Clean and wash the fish for cooking. Cut potato into long slices.

Step Two: For spices burnt the garlic cloves and dry red chili until dark in color. Now crush burnt garlic, red chili and ginger nicely and kept it aside.

Step Three: Now heat a pan and add 2 to 3 cups of water into it. Let it comes to a boil.

Step Four: As water comes to a boil reduce the flame and add salt as per taste.

Step Five: Add potato slices into it and close the lid let the potato boiled until 60 percent for 6 to 7 minutes.

Step Six: After 6 to 7 minutes add chopped onion into it mix nicely.

Step Seven: Add fish pieces and mix once.

Step Eight: Add crushed spices and mix nicely. Close the lid until fish gets soft.

Step Nine: After fish cooked nicely add chopped spring onion into it and give it a nice boil.

Step Ten: Switch off the flame and add chopped coriander leaves. Close lid for sometime to retain the flavor.

Step Eleven: Garnish it with mustard oil and serve hot with steamed rice.
