Step By Step Method Of Cooking Chili Pakoda or Mirch Vada or Chili Fritters:

Step One: Clean the green chilies and slit them from middle so that we can add our stuffing. Keep them aside.

Step Two: Now for batter take one cup or 100 gram gram flour into a bowl. Add other spices like salt, turmeric, carom seeds, red chili powder, mango powder and garam masala and add water little by little and make a batter. Batter should be in pouring consistency. As batter is ready we keep it aside.

Step Three: Heat a pan and add 1 tbsp oil into it. Add chopped onion and cook until golden. Now add boiled and mashed potato into it. Add other spices like salt, mango powder, turmeric powder, Garam Masala powder and red chili powder and mix everything very nicely. Cook them for 2 minutes. Our stuffing is ready.

Step Four: Now take the chili and with the help of a spoon add the stuffing inside it. We have to do it carefully so that chilies won't break. All the chilies have to be prepared by adding stuffing into it. Now we have to coat it with gram flour batter before frying.

Step Five: Now heat a pan and add 1 cup oil for deep fry. As oil heats up coat chilies into gram flour batter and add chilies one by one. Fry all the sides until golden brown in medium flame. I cooked 1 chili at a time since pan is small. If pan is broad and spacious more than one chili can be added at a time.
