Pineapple is a very delicious tropical fruit. It has many health benefits also which makes this fruit very popular all over the world. It can be consume in many different ways as per choice like juice form or whole pieces or cooked in many different ways. In Indian cuisines it is used very widely. There are many recipes which can be prepared with pineapple. Pineapple or Ananas recipes are very appealing with its original aroma with sweet and sour taste. This recipe we can call it Pineapple Ambal (আনাৰসৰ অম্বল), or Pineapple Chutney. It can be served with steamed rice or chapati or any kind of Indian cuisines. It's sweet and sour taste make your food more tempting. Let's see the necessary Ingredients and step by step method of preparation-

Necessary Ingredients Required To Prepare Pineapple Chutney:
Pineapple 1 small sized (ripe one I have taken),
Jeggery powder 1 tbsp,
Salt as per taste,
Mustard oil 1 tbsp,
Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp,
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp,
Red chili powder 1/2 tsp.
Step By Step Method To Prepare Pineapple Chutney or Sweet and Sour Pineapple:
Step One: Take one pineapple and remove the top and bottom part of it. Now remove the skin and eyes ( black round spots of pineapple). Remove the hard part of it's chest.
Step Two: Now cut it into small cubes and keep aside.
Step Three: Heat a pan and add 1 tbsp mustard oil into it. Let the oil heats up.
Step Four: Now add 1/2 tsp mustard seeds into it let it crackle.
Step Five: Now add pineapple cubes into it and mix it very well. Flame should be high.
Step Six: Now add salt, turmeric powder and red chili powder into it and mix it very nicely. Keep the flame in medium high and close lid for 2 minutes.
Step Seven: After 2 minutes of medium flame cooking add 1 tbsp jeggery powder into it and mix nicely. Close lid again for 2 to 3 minutes in medium flame.
Step Eight: After 3 minutes mix nicely once and add 1 tbsp of water into it. Close lid and cook for 2 minutes again.
Step Nine: After 2 minutes our pineapple is ready. It is extremely mouthwatering recipe.
Step Ten: Serve hot.
Serve it with any kind of Indian cuisine as a side dish.
NB: Here I have used jeggery for sweetness. Sugar can also be used for sweetness. For salt I have used rock salt which is low in sodium content.
