Green chili pickle is an instant pickle recipe. Indian food is incomplete without pickle or achar. In this pickle recipe lots of spices and sourness have been added so that spicy and tangy taste gives a delicious taste. In fact sourness will be there and spices of chili has been reduced gradually. In India variety of pickle has been made and chili pickle is very popular among them. Let's check the necessary Ingredients and step by step procedure to make this recipe--

Necessary Ingredients To Prepare Green Chili Pickle:

Green chili 200 gram,
Mustard oil 1/2 cup,
Coriander powder 1 tsp,
Cumin powder 1/2 tsp,
Salt 1/2 tsp,(as per taste),
Dry mango powder 1 tsp,
vinegar 1tbsp,
Mustard seeds 1 tsp


Method Of Preparation Step By Step:

Step One: Wash and dried the green chili and remove the top part of it.

Step Two: Now cut it into pieces.

Step Three: Now add coriander powder, red-chili powder, dry mango powder, salt, cumin powder and mix evenly.

Step Four: Take 1 table spoon of vinegar and add it into the green chilis and mix it very nicely.

Step Five: Now heat a pan and add mustard oil into it. I have added almost 1/2 cup oil as per my quantity requirement.

Step Six: Add some mustard seeds to the oil and let it crackle.

Step Seven: Now switch off the flame.

Step Eight: Add this oil with mustard seeds to our pickle and mix this very nicely.

Step Nine: Let it cool and put it in a glass container.

Step Ten: Keep the bottle in sunlight for 2 to 3 days. Pickle is ready .

It can be served with Rice or chapati. It tastes excellent. Enjoy your food with this pickle recipe.


NB:
 1. Before cutting the green chili into pieces make sure that no water is there in the chilies because single drop of water can spoil your pickle. 

2. While cutting the chilies make sure to use gloves because sometimes by mistake if your finger goes to your eyes it can cause lot of problems.

3. It is always preferable to use mustard oil in pickle. It gives a unique flavor to it. 

4. Three days is necessary to settle down the pickle. Because oil and sourness has to go inside the chilies.

5. If you make this pickle in large quantity make sure to keep the bottle in proper sunlight sometimes. It will last longer.

3. Raw green chili contains high amount of vitamin A which can fulfill the need of the body.
