Dahi Tadka or Yogurt curry is a very delicious instant gravy recipe. It is very easy to make with very less ingredients. If you are in a hurry it is a nice recipe for you. Curd or yogurt or dahi is very popular food all over the country. This spiced and tempered yogurt will give a nice twist to this recipe. Necessary Ingredients For Dahi Tadka Recipe:

Yogurt 2 cups,
Gram flour 1 tbsp,
Salt as per taste,
Onion chopped 1,
Garlic chopped 4 cloves,
Tomato chopped 1 ,
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp,
Coriander powder 1/2 tsp,
Redchili powder 1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds 1/4 tsp,
Redchili 1,
Oil 1 tbsp.





Method Of Cooking Step By Step:

Step One: Take two cups of yogurt and and add add 1 tbsp of gram-flour to it and mix it nicely. Make sure that no lumps is there. Now keep this aside.

Step Two: Now take one medium sized onion and chopped it nicely and keep aside.

Step Three: Take 4 to 5 cloves of garlic and chopped it very nicely and keep aside.

Step Four: Likewise one tomato also chop evenly and keep aside. Now our main ingredients are ready and we can start making the recipe.

Step Five: Heat a pan and add tbsp of oil. Add some cumin seeds and a red chili to it.

Step Six: Now add chopped onion and garlic and fry it until golden brown.

Step Seven: As onion gets golden brown add chopped tomato to it and fry until tomato gets soft.

Step Eight: Add dry spices into it like coriander powder, red-chili powder and turmeric powder and mix evenly.

Step Nine: As tomato getting soft and its starts releasing oil add yogurt into it and mix nicely.

Step Ten: Add salt as per taste and give it a nice boil.



Dahi Tadka is ready. Garnish with some coriander leaves. Serve it with Chapati or hot steamed rice.


NB:

1. Adding gram flour to yogurt is necessary because it gives required thickness to the recipe.
