Video Description Of Manda Pitha Recipe:

Necessary Ingredients To Cook Manda Pitha:

Rice flour 250 gram,
Water 750 ml,
salt 1/2 tsp,
Ghee 1 tsp,
coconut 1 cup,
Jeggery as per the requirement of sweetness.

Step By Step Method Of Cooking Manda Pitha:

Step One: Heat 750 ml of water into a pan and let it boil.

Step Two: Add one tbsp ghee into the water and mix it nicely.

Step Three: Add 1/2 tsp of salt and mix evenly.

Step Four: Now add rice powder into this boiling water(make sure that the flame is low). Don't add all together. Just add little by little and keep mixing it.

Step Five: Once the water and rice powder mix evenly switch off the flame.

Step Six: Cover the lid and let it rest for five to 10 minute.

Step Seven: Now its time to prepare the stuffing for the pithas.

Step Eight: For stuffing heat a pan and add cup of coconut into it(as per your requirement). Add jeggery also and keep mixing until jeggery get completely mix with coconut.

Step Nine: Now keep it aside .

Step Ten: Now take out the rice flour into a plate and press it nicely.(grease some ghee into your hand and press the dough nicely. Once the dough is ready its time to prepare the pithas).

Step Eleven: Now grease your hand with some ghee and take some dough and flatten it with your hand and put some coconut stuffing into it and close the dough from all the sides and give it a round shape. Like this prepare all the pithas.

Step Twelve: Now take a steamer and steam all the pithas for 15 minutes. If you don't have steamer then in a pan boil water and above it put one steaming tray and add all the pithas to it and close the lid. (Here in video I am using the same method).

Step Thirteen: After 15 minute open the lid remove the tray from water and rest it for 5 minute and take out pithas very carefully one by one.

Our pitha is ready. Enjoy this pitha as your breakfast or whichever way you like it.
