Egg Korma or Egg Kurma is a preparation of egg recipe with some delicious aromatic gravy. Korma gravy recipes color is usually little golden brown and it is a very rich gravy. Here Turmeric is not added or very less Turmeric is added so that original color of gravy comes out. It can be serve as a main course with hot steamed rice or Chapatti. Let's check the main ingredients of this recipe and step by step method of cooking--
Ingredients Of The Recipe:
Egg 4 hard boiled,
Onion 3 Finely paste,
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp,
Ghee 1 tbsp,
Cashew Nuts 8-10,
Sugar 1/4 tsp,
Coriender powder 1/2 tsp,
Cumin powder 1/2 tsp,
Red-chilli powder 1/4 tsp,
Green chili 2,
Yogurt 2 tbsp,
Milk 1/2 cup,
Bay-leaf 1,
Cinnamon stick 1,
Cardamom Green 2.
Video Description Of The Recipe:
First Step: Take some eggs and hard boiled it. Here I have taken 4 eggs. Quantity of Eggs as per your requirement. There is no restrictions.
Second Step: Fry boiled eggs until it becomes little golden in color. This step is optional. It gives a nice texture for the eggs.
Third Step: Now heat a pan and add 1 table-spoon ghee to it.
Fourth Step: Now add some whole garam masala to it which will add a wonderful flavor to it. Spices are 1 bay-leaf, 1 cinnamon stick and 2 green cardamom.
Fifth Step: Now add onion paste to it. Onion paste I have grind to paste.
Sixth Step: Fry this for a minute and add ginger garlic paste and fry it properly until raw flavor has gone.
Seventh Step: Now its time to add dry spices. Add 1/2 tsp coriander powder, 1/4 tsp cumin powder,1/4 tsp red-chilli powder.
Eighth Step: Now fry this spices until it starts releasing oil.
Ninth Step: Now add cashew paste to it. For this soak 8 to 10 cashew nuts for 10 minutes and grind to a fine paste. After adding cashew paste mix it well and fry for a minute.
Tenth Step: Now take 2 table-spoon yogurt to a bowl and mix it well with the help of a spoon. Add it to our curry and mix evenly. Saute for a minute.
Eleventh Step: Now add half cup milk to it and mix it well. Give it to a nice boil.
Twelve Step: Add half cup water to it and mix it nicely. Give it a nice boil.
Thirteenth Step: Add salt as per your taste. Add 1/4 tsp sugar which increases taste of this recipe.
Fourteenth Step: Add some raisins.
Fifteenth Step: Now add our boiled eggs into it and mix.
Sixteenth Step: Garnish with 2 green chilies. Slit green chilies before adding and give it a nice boil.
Egg Korma recipe is ready. Enjoy with rice or chapatti.
NB: 1. If you are a coconut lover you can add some fresh coconut paste to it.
2. This gravy should not be very thin. It should be a thick gravy. It enhance the taste of this recipe
