INDIAN STYLE PASTA RECIPE | SPICY MASALA PASTA | QUICK & EASY MASALA PASTA


Pasta is basically an Italian dish. Here this recipe I have made with some Indian twist in it by adding some Indian spices. This twist makes this recipe completely different from regular pasta recipes. Let's check the necessary ingredients and step by step method of cooking this Indian Style Pasta Recipe ----

Necessary Ingredients For Indian Style Pasta Recipe:

Pasta 1 cup,
Tomato Puree 1 cup,
Onion 1 large chopped,
Ginger chopped,
Garlic chopped,
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp,
Garam Masala powder 1/2 tsp,
Coriander Powder 1/2 tsp,
Redchilli powder 1/2 tsp,
Salt as per taste,
Oil for cooking,
Oregano 1/4 tsp

Method Of Cooking Step By Step:

First Step:  Boil 3 cup water into a pan.

Second Step: As water boiled properly add pasta to it. Put the flame to medium and let it cook. To check whether pasta has been boiled or not you just take one piece of pasta and bite it you will get to know it is boiled or not. If pasta is put into hot water then in 10 minutes it will cook.

Third Step: Add 1 tbsp oil to it while boiling and mix. It prevents pasta to stick to each other.

Fourth Step: Boil pasta for 10 min in medium flame. After boiling strain the water and keep the boiled pasta aside.

Fifth Step: Heat 1 tbsp oil into a pan and add chopped onion,garlic and ginger to it.

Sixth Step: Cook until it becomes golden brown. Do not cook too much because ginger is there, If it gets cook too much bitter taste will come.

Seventh Step: Now take 2 to 3 tomatoes and make a fine paste in blender which we will use for this pasta recipe.

Eighth Step: Add tomato puree to it and mix it nicely.

Ninth Step: Now its time to add dry spices to it. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder,garam masala powder and redchilli powder and mix evenly. Spices has to be cooked evenly. To avoid burning sprinkle some water to it and mix evenly.

Tenth Step: Now its time to add boiled pasta to it. So add boiled pasta and mix it nicely so that spices can be mixed evenly with pasta.

Eleventh Step: Add salt as per taste. Mix evenly so that no portion left without salt. 

Twelve Step: Now add some oregano to it and mix it evenly. It gives a nice pasta flavor with Indian taste.


Pasta in Indian style is ready. Serve it hot.


NB: 1. Be very careful about boiling the pasta because if it is over boiled then recipe will not comes out good. That is why always check carefully if it is boiled properly or not.

2. Don't put water to heat and add pasta to it. First boil the water properly once it is boiling lower the flame and add pasta to it. after that 10 minutes is enough in medium flame.

3. As always quantity of red-chili powder can be increased or decreased as per taste.
