Crispy Spinach is very unique recipe which is prepared with gram flour mixture. Spinach always cooked with dal or sabji or it may be prepare in many other ways but this is a very unique method. If you do not like spinach try this recipe and you will start loving spinach. This recipe can be served as a party starter. Yes you heard it right that spinach can also be prepared as a party starter. It is very delicious and it can be served as a side dish with steamed rice and dal.

Necessary Ingredients Required To Prepare Crispy Spinach:

Spinach leaves wash and dried as per your quantity(I have taken 10 to 12 leaves),
Gram flour 250 gram,
Rice powder 2 tsp,
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp,
Red chili powder 1/2 tsp,
Salt as per taste,
Water 1/2 cup,
Oil for frying.

Step By Step Method Of Cooking Crispy Spinach Recipe:

Step One: Wash spinach leaves properly and cut out the steam. Now dried out the leaves so that it will not be watery. I just wash and spread it into a pot so that water dried up.

Step Two: Now take a bowl and add gram flour to it. I have taken 250 gram flour as per my quantity required. Now add 2 tsp of rice powder to it. Rice powder gives extra crispness to our recipe.

Step Three: Now add salt as per taste and some turmeric and red chili powder and mix with a spoon.

Step Four: Now add water to it little by little and make a thick mixture out of it.I have shown the mixture consistency in video description.

Step Five: Heat oil into a pan. Oil should be moderately hot.

Step Six: Take a spinach leaf and fold it to small. I have fold it 2 3 fold. Now dip this folded leaf to the gram flour mixture and coat the leaf nicely with the mixture and add it to hot oil. Like this 3 to 4 leaves can be fry at a time. Flame should be medium. Fry until golden brown. When one side is fried nicely flip to other side as well and fry until golden brown.

Step Seven: Fry all the leaves like this. It can be deep fry and stir fry also. I prefer to use less oil so I have fried it in less oil. 

Our crispy spinach is ready. Serve it hot with tomato sauce. It is a very crunchy and tasty recipe. very unique party starter believe me :).
