Ingredients Required To Prepare Sesame Laddu Recipe:

Black sesame seeds 1 cup,
Jeggery grated 1 cup,
Water to melt jeggery 1/4 cup or little more

Step By Step Method Of Preparation Of Sesame Laddu Recipe:

Step One: First step is to grate 1 cup of jeggery and keep it aside.

Step Two: Now heat a pan and add 1 cup sesame seeds to it. We have to dry roast this sesame seeds until nice aroma from the seeds comes out. It will take 7 to 8 minute in low flame.

Step Three: As roasting done keep it aside in a plate.

Step Four: Now heat a pan and add 1 cup jeggery into it. After adding the jeggery add half cup water as well to melt the jeggery.

Step Five: After melting the jeggery it has to come to required consistency. I have shown it in the video also. With a spoon or spatula try to draw a line into boiling jeggery. If it gets separated for a second that means it is the right consistency. Or you can take some water into a bowl and drop a jeggery into it if jeggery goes to bottom and stick then it is right consistency and if it is spread in the water then jegery is ready.

Step Six: Now add roasted sesame into this jeggey and mix it very well. All the sesame seeds has to be mixed with jeggery.

Step Seven: Now this part has to be done quickly. Now apply some water in your hand and shape the laddus by pressing them with your hand. While preparing the laddus if the mixture has dried up then again make it hot then it will get softer as jeggery will melt.

Our sesame laddus are ready. Serve it with a hot cup of tea or coffee.
