Moutabel is very famous Middle Eastern dip recipe . This is a vegetarian recipe which is prepared with grilled or roasted eggplant and Tahini where eggplant is cooked directly on the stove flame or can be cooked in microwave. Eggplant is very popular vegetable in Middle Eastern cooking. This recipe is very easy to prepare and it is not time consuming also. Moutabel is traditionally served with Kuboos (Arabic Bread) or any kind of bread you like.

Necessary Ingredients Required For Moutabel (Arabic Dip) Recipe:
Eggplant 2 large,Tahini Sauce 2 tbsp,
Yogurt 2 tbsp,
Salt as per taste,
Garlic finely chopped 1 tsp,
Olive oil 1 tbsp,
Lemon juice 1 tbsp.
Step By Step Method Of Cooking Moutabel ( Arabic Dip ) Recipe:
Step One: Wash the eggplant nicely and make some holes into it with your knife. Apply some oil into the Eggplants. Any kind of oil can be used. Applying oil is necessary as it will help to remove the skin after cooking. Burn (cook) the Eggplant directly on the stove flame. It can be cook in microwave also. All the sides should be cook nicely.Step Two: Now after cooking keep it into a plate and let it cool down. After cooling down remove the skin slowly.
Step Three: Now chop it finely. It can be blend also nicely. But I just chopped it nicely.
Step Four: Now transfer it into a bowl and add other ingredients as well like finely chopped garlic one tsp, yogurt 2 tbsp, tahini sauce 2 tbsp, salt as per taste, lemon juice 1 tbsp and olive oil 1 tbsp or some more.
Step Five: After adding all the Ingredients mix it very nicely or it can be mashed with a masher.
Step Six: Now after everything mixed nicely serve it into a plate. Spread it nicely. Arabic dips has a very unique and beautiful way to serve. After spreading it garnish it with some olive oil.
Our Moutabel (Arabic dip) recipe is ready. It can be served with Kuboos ( Arabic Bread) or can be served with any other kind of bread you like.
NB: I have used Olive oil here and this is must for this recipe. Tahini sauce is basically white sesame seeds paste which is preserved in oil. This sauce is widely available in Middle East since it is widely used in Middle Eastern cooking.
