Necessary Ingredients To Cook Rajma Masala:

Rajma 1 cup,
Whole black moong dal or Black gram 3 tbsp(this is optional),
Onion 1 large,
Ginger garlic paste 1/2 tsp,
Dry spices( 1 cinnamon stick, 2 green cardamom, 2 cloves, 2 black pepper),
Cumin seeds 1/4 tsp,
Sugar 1/4 tsp,
Salt as per taste,
Coriender powder 1/2 tsp,
Cumin powder 1/4 tsp,
Redchilli powder 1/4 tsp,
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp,
chopped onion for garnishing,
Oil to cook




Step By Step Method Of Cooking Rajma Masala Recipe:

Step One: Soak Rajma and Whole black mug dal for 5 to 6 hours or overnight.

Step Two: Boil both the lentils together until 4 to 5 whichels. Separate Rajma from water. Keep the boiled water aside.

Step Three: Heat one or two tbsp of oil into a pan.

Step Four: Add some whole spices like cinnamon stick, cardamom, cloves, black pepper and some cumin seeds.

Step Five: Add onion paste and fry until onion gets golden.

Step Six: Add ginger garlic paste and fry until raw flavor has gone.

Step Seven: Add tomato paste and mix this very evenly.

Step Eight: Now its time to add dry spices like coriander powder, red chili powder, cumin powder,turmeric powder. Mix all the spices evenly and cook until it starts releasing oil.

Step Nine: Add salt as per taste. Add some sugar also to adjust the taste.

Step Ten: Add boiled rajma to it and mix it evenly. fry for five to six minute.

Step Eleven: Now its time to add water. Add rajma boiled water which we kept aside. Mix nicely. Give it a nice boil.

Rajma masala gravy is ready. Serve it hot as a main course with hot steamed rice or chapati. It tastes delicious.
