Video Description Of Salted Butter Cookies Recipe:

Necessary Ingredients To Prepare The Salted Butter Cookies:

All purpose flour 300 gram,
Salted butter 110 gram,
Sugar 1 tbsp,
Salt 3/4 tsp,
Baking Powder 1 tsp,
Kalonji or Nigella seeds 1 tsp(quantity can be increased or decreased),
Milk 3 tsp(Milk is optional. If dough is not proper to make cookies we can add milk).

Step By Step Method Of Preparing Salted Butter Cookies:

Step OneTake 110 gram butter and keep it in room temperature. It has to become soft. Don't make it soft in microwave or stove.

Step Two: Add 3/4 tsp of salt to it, 1 tsp or less nigella seeds, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp baking powder. Mix it very evenly.

Step Three: Add all purpose flour . Its better to add little by little and mix it with your hand. Cookie dough would be very soft. If dough consistency is not proper add 2 or 3 tbsp of milk into it. In video description I have shown the dough consistency.

Step Four: When dough is ready we will start making cookie shapes.

Step Five: First grease the baking tray with some butter. This step is necessary because without butter cookie may stick to the bottom.

Step Six: Now divide the cookie dough into some equal shapes. Make some round balls and press little bit. Put it in baking tray. Make sure to keep some distance so that it doesn't stick to each other while baking.

Step Seven: Now pre heat the oven in 170 degree centigrade.

Step Eight: bake the cookies for 20 minutes in 170 degree centigrade.

Step Nine: After 20 minutes let the cookies cool for half an hour.

Serve it with a hot cup of tea. This recipe is very popular among those who wants to avoid the sugar or doesn't like sugar.

NB:

1. Here in this cookie recipe I have used Nigella seeds if somebody doesn't like Nigella seeds they can use Cumin seeds also or Caraway seeds in less quantity.

2. Butter should be in room temperature for 4 to 5 hours before start making the cookies.
