Milk Barfi or Milk Cake or Kalakan Sweets or Barfi is a Indian sweets recipe. This is delicious and easy to prepare. This is homemade quick recipe. If you want to serve your guest a homemade and quick recipe this is for you. It takes less time to prepare and yet very delicious. Barfi traditionally made from cashew nuts powder but here I have used milk powder instead of cashew nuts powder. That's why it is Milk Barfi. Let's see step by step method of cooking and necessary Ingredients for it.

Ingredients Required To Prepare Milk Barfi Recipe:
Milk powder 2 cups,
Ghee 3 tbsp,
Sugar 1/2 cup,
Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp,
Milk 1/2 cup,
Pistacheo and Almond chopped for garnishing
Step By Step Method Of Preparing Milk Barfi:
Step One: Take one plate and grease some ghee to it and keep it aside. The reason for applying ghee is to it will help us to avoid our mixture on sticking to the plate.
Step Two: Now heat a pan. Keep the flame low so that the pan can't be overheated. I have use here non-stick pan.
Step Three: Now add 3 tbsp of ghee to it. Make sure that ghee is not overheated.
Step Four: Now add 1/2 cup of milk to it and nicely mix it.
Step Five: Now add 2 cups of powder milk to it.
Step Six: Add cardamom powder to it. I have used 1/4th tsp of cardamom powder.
Step Seven: Now add 1/2 cups of sugar to it and start mixing it. Flame should be low.
Step Eight: Keep mixing so that no lump can be formed. We need our required consistency to make the Barfi.
Step Nine: Now after 2 minutes our mixture is starts getting separate from the pan. We have to keep mixing it.
Step Ten: Now after 5 minutes of mixing our mixture is separating from the pan and now we are ready to prepare barfis.
Step Eleven: Now put the mixture on the plate which we have kept aside by applying ghee. Spread the mixture nicely.
Step Twelve: Now keep it in refrigerator to set for 10 minutes.
Step Thirteen: Now apply some ghee on your knife and cut the Barfies. I have cut it in square shape. You can cut as per your choice.
Serve it to your guest on this occasion of Dipawali with a hot cup of tea.
