Cauliflower Dalna is a very delicious gravy recipe where main Ingredient is cauliflower. Here I have added potatoes though it is optional. This recipe is cooked with lots of spices and gravy is prepared with onion and tomato paste. It can be served with steamed rice or chapati. Necessary Ingredients To Prepare Cauliflower Dalna Recipe:

Cauliflower 500 gram cut into pieces,
Potato 1 large cut into cubes,
Onion 1 large ,

Tomato 1 medium paste,
garlic 4 cloves,
Ginger 1 small piece,
Green chili 1,
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp,
Redchili powder 1/2 tsp,
Cumin-coriander powder 1/2 tsp,
Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp,
Bay leaf 1,
cloves 2 pieces,
cardamom 2 pieces,
Mustard oil 1 tbsp,
Salt as per taste,
Coriander leaves.



Step By Step Method Of Preparing Cauliflower Dalna Recipe:

Step One:  Cut potato and cauliflower into medium size pieces and clean it. Boil cauliflower and potato for 5 minutes and keep it aside.

Step Two: Cut one large or medium sized onion, 4 pieces of garlic and a small piece of ginger and make a fine paste of it. cut one tomato as well and make a fine paste.

Step Three: Now heat a pan and add one bay leaf, 2 cloves, 2 cardamom and some cumin seeds.

Step Four: Add some oil to it. I have added mustard oil.

Step Five: When oil is hot add onion garlic onion paste to it and mix it nicely.

Step Six: Now add tomato paste to it and mix nicely. We have to cook it until oil starts getting separate.

Step Seven: Now add some spices. Here I have added turmeric powder, redchili powder and cumin-coriander powder.

Step Eight: Mix it nicely. Cook well. Add some water so that spices would not get burnt.

Step Nine: After adding water add boiled cauliflower and potato and mix nicely. Add salt as per taste and mix nicely.

Step Ten: Close lid and cook for 5 to 7 minutes in medium flame.

Step Eleven: After 7 minutes mix nicely and add water as per your gravy needs.

Step Twelve: Now give it a nice boil and cook it for 7 minutes in closed lid.

Step Thirteen: Close lid and garnish with some coriander leaves.

Rest it for 5 minutes. Serve hot with some steamed rice.
