This is home made Indian Cottage Cheese or paneer. Paneer is a good protein and vitamin source for vegetarian. We know that it it very easily available in the market. But today we are going to make it at home and taste home made paneer. It really taste more delicious if paneer is prepared at home. Let's see the necessary Ingredients and step by step method of preparation.

Necessary Ingredients To Prepare Paneer Or Indian Cottage-Cheese: 

Milk 1 and half liter,
Fresh Lemon Juice 3 tbsp 

Step By Step Method Of Preparation Of Indian Cottage Cheese Or Paneer: 

Step One: Take one and half liters of milk. Milk should be full cream or double cream.

Step Two: Now heat a pan. As the pan heats up add little water to it and let it boil. This step of adding some water and boil before adding milk is very necessary because it will prevent the milk from sticking into bottom of the pan.

Step Three: Now add milk to it .

Step Four: Keep stirring the milk on regular interval so that it can't be stick anywhere into the pan.

Step Five: We will boil the milk until it nicely boil.

Step Six: Now as the milk is boiled properly switch off the flame.

Step Seven: At this step add lemon juice to it. 

Step Eight: After adding the lemon juice keep stirring slowly so that curdled milk will get separate nicely.

Step Nine: As the water get separated we can take out the cottage cheese from it.

Step Ten: Now take a strainer. I have shown it in detail in my video description.Put the strainer on a deep bowl and on top of the strainer put a muslin cloth. Now we will pour the milk on it and this is the best way to separate the cottage cheese.

Step Eleven: Now don't throw away the separated water. It is very healthy. It is very good for health. In case of dehydration it gives relief. It is good for glowing skin. For kids it increases the immunity.

Step Twelve: Now add some fresh water to the cottage cheese so that it can remove the smell of lemon.

Step Thirteen: Now hold the muslin cloth tight to strain out the extra water. Process can be seen in the video description.

Step Fourteen: Now flatten the cottage cheese a little by pressing it with your hand and put a heavy object on top. 

Step Fifteen: Rest it for an hour. 

Step Sixteen: After one hour take out the cottage cheese from the muslin cloth. Cut it as per your choice.
