Necessary Ingredients To Prepare Dahi Bjindi Recipe:

Okra or Bhindi 250 grams,
Yogurt 1/2 cups,
Salt as per taste,
Turmeris powder 1/2 tsp,
Cumin powder 1/4 tsp,
Coriander powder 1/2 tsp,
Red chili powder 1/4 tsp,
Ginger garlic paste 1/2 tsp,
Onion paste 1 medium onion,
Cumin seeds 1/4 tsp,
Tamarind soaked water 1/4 cup

Step By Step Method Of Cooking Dahi Bhindi Recipe:

Step One: First make onion paste and soak some tamarind to 1/4 cup of water.

Step Two: Now cut bhindi into pieces as per your choice.

Step Three: Now add oil into a pan and fry bhindi until it comes to brown in color. Flame should be low. fry for 8 minutes and keep aside.

Step Three: Now add oil into a pan and add some cumin seeds.

Step Four: As cumin seeds comes to brown in color add onion paste and ginger garlic paste and mix evenly.

Step Five: Now add spices like turmeric powder, red-chili powder, cumin powder and coriander powder. Mix everything nicely and we have to cook it until oil starts releasing. Add some water to avoid burning.

Step Six: As spices are starts releasing oil add yogurt into it and keep mixing very nicely until come to a boil. As it comes to a boil add yogurt salt as per taste.

Step Seven: Now add fried okra into it and mix evenly. Close lid cook for 6 minutes in medium or low flame.

Step Eight: Now add some tamarind soaked water into it and mix. Cook for another 3 minutes lid open.

Our recipe is ready. rest it for 5 minutes and serve it with your favorite bread like roti or paratha or it can be served with rice as well.
